Why Earn Online

You must be seeing this blog because of one or more of the following:
1) you yourself would like to earn online.
2) you are already earning online and are still looking for ways to earn online.
3) you are just surfing the net
4) you are done with working for a company and you would like to shift from an employee to a self-employed one.

Then there must be several other things that I may have failed to mention. :)

I am a full time employee in a good-paying company, and when I say good-paying, a lot of our employees stay there for years, like 10 years is common number of work years. Well, I'm quite new here because I just turned two, but do you know that my salary has doubled in two years? Yes, in two years, my pay has doubled and our company even shoulders the tax, so I take home a clean basic pay except that I have loans with SSS and with the company (which is also interest-free) or when I incur tardiness or absences. I work hard and to be honest, I work like a dog. I rarely get to get a drink in a day. I have errands here and there, from left to right. Aside from the daily things that I do and out of the office, I have several to do in the computer, as well. There are so many big and small things to do in my work now that even if I stay for the next 4-8 hours, I will not run out of work to do. But isn't it that they say that you will not really run out of work to do? Because you get to finish one, but you have more to move next to.

In my first ever job, I had to work in the HR Dept of the company for about 1800 employees. Since handling employees in HR entails much paper work for employee evaluations (twice a year), I practically file documents close to 3500 in a year. But that was then.

My next job was ok, not much of stress but it was contractual so I left in 6 months time.

My 3rd job was in a call center. But because I am a deep-sleeper and has no strength for night life, I think I am always asleep during training. So come testing time, I am one of those who failed the exam and was asked to discontinue training :( But it is ok because of the nature of the job that I could not live with. So, honestly, I admire those who are doing call center jobs, who can cope with the stress and difficulty of keeping awake when everyone else are working. I will have to work double if I do that.

My fourth was with a power company in a province. It was one of the best or big companies there. I don't earn much but it is less costlier than living and working in Manila. I enjoyed it for long though our Manager would usually just surf the net, have us do all the work, then leave us rendering overtime. It was fun more because I loved what I was doing and the people were simple and hardworking and seem to be united. Then I have to move to another city to settle down.

When we have our first-born, we eventually felt it is time to go to Manila for a better life. For some reason, Divine Intervention, I must say, we both got hired almost at the same time. So off we went here.

So.. I am earning well compared to most people in Manila. So why do I (still) want to earn online? Simply because of the following:
1) I dream of being hands on in raising my kids, be a full-time mom and wife.
2) I dream of managing my own time, waking up as late as I want without having to worry of being issued a memo for being tardy for an hour total in a month's time.
3) I'd like to be able to say, "I don't want to work today" and be able to move about as I wish without feeling guilty or thinking of work that is left or will not be done just because I am absent from work. (and not be wary that someone will call me up sometime to ask or check on something from me)
4) I would like to go out of my comfort zone and be able to follow the path that is less taken but has led many to freedom
5) I want this to, one day, be a way for me to earn and so I don't have to be employed anymore.
6) I'd like to be my own boss, because working for more than 6 bosses is quite heavy (agree?).
7) I want to enjoy life as much as possible. I have been given one life to live. I'd like to live it to the fullest. I want to have time for the things that I don't have time for because I am employed.
8) I want to share myself to the world as positively as possible, in the way I believe I an being called to do.

I guess that's it! :)
